Bad news, no competitive racing this weekend. Good news, we can still get track time for $10. So 'run what you brung', 'test n tune', ride the track to your hearts content. There are little to no requirements for safety gear or bike, so ride at your own risk; but my previous recommendations still apply. If you have any questions please shoot me a message. I plan to be there after 9am on Sunday 13th.

From the track website

Practice Fees and Times

Track open daily $10 per kart, $5 per extra driver. Driver must have helmet, neck brace, jacket or suit, long pants, closed toe shoes, and gloves. Stop at the front office to pay and sign release form. Track will only be closed for practice if their is an event scheduled or repair is being performed.

**fees and available practice dates subject to change without notice, please call ahead**

Some Class Rules, etc.

The MWSR club are starting with a Superstock 150 that allows up to 180cc of displacement and unlimited mods to exhaust, carburettor, and chassis. Pump gas only. Any wheel size.

Scooter is any production motorcycle with a step through frame and engine as unit construction with the transmission (automatic CVT) as swing arm.

Scooters will run alone on the track with 2 heats to decide points (and to get more track time together). We will also run in an "All out automatic" race with mopeds for a single heat, every man for himself. Heats are ten laps on the 1/2 mile course.

Race prep for G&J is just a working kill switch and removal or taping of lights and removal of license plates and mirrors (talk about easy prep! I do recommend removal of all things you don't want to break, like turn signals and headlight assemblies).

We recommend one piece leathers, but two piece zip together built of leather or textile is ok. Snell approved full face helmet, leather gloves, and boots are required.

Did I mention that it only costs $35 to race/ride on track for the whole weekend?

And only $5 to watch. So if you don't have the gear, you can still get involved at an audience level, and us racers would love that!
